VIP meet-and-greet at Entebbe. Private transfer to your lakeside hotel. Evening briefing with your guide on the 20-day journey ahead.
Lazy breakfast, then a canoe through Mabamba Bay — Ramsar site and prime shoebill habitat. Over 300 bird species including papyrus gonolek and seasonal Palearctic migrants. Relaxed afternoon at lodge.
Drive to Jinja, Uganda's adventure capital on Lake Victoria. Afternoon boat cruise to the source of the Nile — where the world's longest river begins.
Full-day rafting on the Victoria Nile — warm water, safe pools, island birdlife, and world-class rapids balanced for enjoyment. Roughly 15 km on the river (4–5 hours) with expert safety crew.
Scenic drive to Mount Elgon's foothills. Afternoon hike to three waterfalls (85 m, 65 m, and 100 m) through farmland and local communities — roughly 3 hours with optional swim at the plunge pool.
Morning game drive in Pian Upe — Uganda's second-largest conservation area. Zebras, elands, oribi, ostrich, and with luck cheetah or leopard. Evening drive to Moroto with Karamojong manyatta cultural encounters en route.
Long scenic drive north into Karamoja — 6–7 hours through dramatic frontier landscapes. Arrive at lodge overlooking one of Africa's finest wilderness parks.
Dawn game drive from Apoka through the Narus Valley savanna — lions, elephants, buffalo, giraffe, and rare carnivores including cheetah if fortune favours. Hot lunch and afternoon at leisure with pool and panoramic views.
Morning drive for kudu, dik-dik, and predators. After lunch, explore the northern hot springs — excellent ostrich and birding. Evening at lodge.
Guided nature walk with armed ranger in the Narus Valley loop circuits — Katurum kopje views north to the Morungule range. Afternoon game drive back to camp.
Scenic 6–7 hour drive south via Gulu. Evening game drive in Uganda's largest park — elephants, giraffes, buffalo, Uganda kob, and hartebeest before sunset at lodge.
Dawn drive for lions and leopards on the savanna. Afternoon boat to the base of Murchison Falls — 300 cubic metres per second forced through a 7-metre gorge. One of the world's most powerful waterfalls.
Full-day scenic transfer west — 8–9 hours with views of Lake Albert, Rwenzori foothills, and rural Uganda. Hot lunch en route. Forest lodge check-in.
Morning chimp trek in Kibale — primate capital with habituated communities plus red colobus, mangabeys, and forest birds. Afternoon Bigodi wetland walk on the park fringe.
Drive via the Kasese crater lake region with Rwenzori mountain views. Packed lunch en route. Afternoon game drive in Queen Elizabeth before checking in — elephants, antelope, and prolific birdlife.
Dawn game drive across the equator-spanning park. Salt lake stop and curio shopping. Afternoon boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel — hippos, buffalo, elephants, and exceptional birding between Lakes George and Edward.
Morning drive through Ishasha sector searching for tree-climbing lions in fig trees. Continue southwest through forested hills to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest — home to roughly half the world's mountain gorillas.
Early briefing and guided trek to your assigned gorilla family — typically 2–6 hours through ancient rainforest. One hour with the gorillas. Afternoon Batwa cultural experience sharing forest heritage.
Drive to Lake Mburo — compact savanna gem. Lunch en route. Evening game drive for zebra, impala, eland, topi, and over 350 bird species.
Breakfast and transfer to Entebbe (3–4 hours, mostly tarmac). Equator stop for photos and curio shopping. International departure or optional overnight near the airport.

This is our most complete single-country immersion — ideal if you want savanna, primates, adventure, and remote Kidepo in one journey. We can shorten or reorder any segment.
Expect long scenic drives (especially days 7, 11, and 13), active hikes at Sipi and Bwindi, and optional Grade III–IV rafting. Rest days are built in at Kidepo and after gorilla trekking.
