This fly-in gorilla habituation tour is built for guests with a short stay in Uganda who still want the full habituation experience in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. You spend up to four hours with mountain gorillas on a habituation trek—joining researchers as wild mountain gorillas are gently introduced to human presence for research, care, and conservation. Scheduled or charter flights connect Entebbe with Bwindi via Kisoro airstrip; internal flights are typically about one and a half hours each way.

Day by day

After pickup from Entebbe International Airport or your hotel, transfer to the airport for your one-hour domestic scheduled or charter flight to the Bwindi/Kisoro airstrip. On arrival, our safari guide meets you for a short road transfer to your lodge. Before the next day’s trek, your guide briefs you on the habituation experience and the dos and don’ts in the forest.
