Pick up from Mombasa or Diani for a classic Tsavo circuit. Tsavo East’s dust-red elephants bathing in the palm-shaded Galana River, the 300 km Yatta Plateau (the world’s longest lava flow), and vast herds of elephant, buffalo, lion, leopard, hippo, crocodile, waterbuck, lesser kudu, and gerenuk make this adventure unlike any other. Tsavo West adds crystal-clear Mzima Springs gushing from lava rock, Shetani lava flows, riverine belts, and Poacher’s Lookout over teeming plains—with rhino, cheetah, and over 500 bird species including threatened corncrake and Basra reed warbler.

Keep in mind

Day by day
