Murchison Falls National Park spans the Victoria Nile from Lake Albert to Karuma Falls—famous for the Devil’s Cauldron gorge where the Nile forces through a seven-metre gap. Expect elephants, giraffes, lions, leopards, hippos, crocodiles, buffalo, kob, and over 450 bird species including shoebill.

Day by day
Arrive Entebbe International Airport, meet your guide, transfer to your hotel, and receive a briefing on the Murchison Falls adventure ahead.
After breakfast, drive to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for a white rhino bush walk (Uganda’s only wild rhinos), continue into Murchison Falls National Park, visit the top of the falls if time allows, and overnight at Nile Safari Lodge.
Early morning game drive on the savanna for elephants, giraffes, lions, hippos, crocodiles, buffalo, and birds, then an afternoon Victoria Nile boat ride to the base of the falls—ideal for photography and waterbirds.
Morning chimpanzee tracking in Budongo Forest (one hour with our closest relatives), then drive back to Entebbe for your departure or overnight near the airport.
