Day by day
Early drive to Kibale Forest National Park (about 6–7 hours) through scenic landscapes and optional photo stops, then check in at Kibale Forest Camp for the night.
Morning chimpanzee tracking (about 3–4 hours) with briefing, lunch at lodge, then Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary walk—closed shoes and long trousers recommended—supporting community conservation and superb birding.
Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest via Queen Elizabeth’s Ishasha sector with chances of tree-climbing lions and crater scenery, arriving early evening to prepare for gorilla trekking.
Early departure with rangers for mountain gorilla tracking in Bwindi—one hour with your assigned family in the forest, an experience you will never forget.
Relaxed morning after trekking, lunch at lodge, then afternoon Batwa community experience learning how Uganda’s forest people lived before Bwindi was gazetted.
Breakfast and drive back via the Masaka corridor with equator experience, tea-farm scenery, optional tea-processing stop, and evening drop-off in Kampala or Entebbe.
