Day by day
Airport pickup, transfer to Entebbe accommodation, and full safari briefing on how your journey will run and forest protocols for trekking days.
Early drive west (about 4–5 hours) through landscapes, forest, and open savanna to Kibale; lunch at lodge, relax, and optional afternoon Bigodi Swamp community walk.
Morning chimpanzee tracking in proper trekking attire (long sleeves, gloves, rain gear); optional Bigodi walk, crater-lake community visit, or night forest walk for bush babies.
Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park crossing the equator, with an afternoon game drive for elephants, buffalo, lions, antelope, and prolific birds across one of East Africa’s richest mammal parks.
Morning savanna game drive, then an afternoon Kazinga Channel boat trip among the world’s densest hippo populations and spectacular shoreline wildlife.
Drive south through Queen Elizabeth to Ishasha and on to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest via villages and mountain viewpoints—home to mountain gorillas and many monkey species.
Early briefing and gorilla tracking with rangers—search the forest for your assigned family and spend one unforgettable hour with mountain gorillas.
After breakfast, drive to Lake Mburo National Park for afternoon game viewing among buffalo, giraffe, eland, zebra, impala, and leopard, with optional guided walking safari.
Morning game drive or guided walk for close wildlife encounters, then return to Entebbe with an equator photo stop en route for your departure flight.
